Danfoss, a manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, industrial, and water systems, has appointed Ian Levergood as the sales manager of its Electric Heating business in North America. In this role, Levergood will focus specifically on the growth of indoor and outdoor electric heating applications, and advancing comfort and safety solutions in the U.S and Canada.

Regulations, energy efficiency, and refrigerants were the topics addressed at the Danfoss press conference at the Mirage Tuesday morning.

Designed for water-cooled chiller applications and built with Turbocor technology, the TT700 compressors are oil-free, variable-speed, magnetic-bearing centrifugal compressors that provide full- and part-load energy efficiency.

CO₂ is rapidly advancing in food retail refrigeration as traditional HFCs are phased out.
