ASHRAE has announced that its next “Energy Modeling Conference: Tools for Designing High Performance Buildings” will take place Sept. 30 to Oct. 2, 2015, in Atlanta. The organization is currently seeking presenters.
The conference, along with the AHR Expo, are historically ASHRAE’s best-attended events, giving attendees from around the world the opportunity to discuss the latest topics in the building industry.
In recognition of the changing role of HVACR since it was first published 20 years ago, ASHRAE announced that its journal, HVAC&R Research, has a new title, an expanded scope, and an updated look.

While these organizations have been working together for years, they have never before attempted to coordinate their efforts into developing one comprehensive code. Now, they have committed to such a task and intend to release a green code in 2018.
