The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) filed a motion to intervene as a defendant in two identical federal lawsuits brought in the Northern District of California. One suit was filed by the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Sierra Club; the other by eleven states' attorneys general and one city attorney.

Emerson announced that company veteran Craig Rossman has been named president of its White-Rodgers business. Rossman succeeds Jack Huether, who has been leading White-Rodgers while also serving as group president of Emerson’s sensors and controls businesses. In this leadership role Rossman will report to Huether. These changes were effective July 1.
