The ACCA accreditation program involves a comprehensive review of the contractor’s professional licenses and business registration documents, plus the completion of orientation training. The contractor is also subject to third-party verification of ACCA’s Quality Contractor Elements.

The initiative will also support Honeywell Energy Solutions Group’s existing multi-phase Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) program with Boston as part of the Renew Boston Trust program to help achieve energy and carbon reductions in city-owned historic buildings.

The acquisition expands the CoolSys offerings and strengthens its market presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, the company said.
