Comfort Supply LLC, a Nashville, Tenn.-based HVAC wholesaler, announced that the company has partnered with Daikin AC (Americas) Inc. to begin distribution of Daikin’s heating and cooling systems in middle and east Tennessee.

Jasper Air, a division of Jasper Contractors Inc, has announced new openings in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, bringing 50 jobs to the state of Louisiana. In early 2011, the heating and cooling division launched in Phoenix and eventually plans to expand throughout the United States.

Berkeys Air Conditioning and Plumbing of Southlake, Texas, has announced a partnership with Abacus Plumbing of Houston as part of a management recapitalization and growth equity investment. Berkeys investors, Alpine Investors and Skylight Capital helped finance the investment and partnership.

Brady, an HVAC company that services commercial and industrial facilities throughout North Carolina, has made a number of announcements, including the opening of a 6,000-square-foot parts center in Durham, N.C.

HTS Texas announced that it has provided Concord Properties with energy-efficient HVAC equipment for the company’s Renaissance Plaza professional business center in San Antonio. The LEED-certified project is being conducted in tandem with HTS Texas partner, Gillette Air Conditioning.

EMCOR Group Inc. announced that it has acquired Southern Industrial Constructors Inc., an industrial services contractor, headquartered in Raleigh, N.C. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
