COLUMBUS, Ohio — Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) released its monthly TRENDS report, which showed average sales for HARDI distributor members increased by 11.7 percent in February 2016.

The CCI is calculated based on a survey of the association’s contractor members, who are asked how positive they feel about new business prospects, existing business activity, and expected staffing decisions in the short-term future. 

HVAC industry icons Ron Smith and Matt Michel will share the podium for a special “Legends of the Industry” presentation at the inaugural Service World Expo, Oct. 26-27 at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas.

Three winning wholesalers will be chosen based on the most mercury recycled, highest recycling average, and most participation (for distributors with more than 10 locations). Additionally, a $500 store incentive will be awarded to the top three branch locations that recycle the most. 

The Small Business Champion Award is given to elected officials who promote and protect the interests of small businesses, which represent more than 80 percent of HARDI wholesalers.
