In a virtual press conference the week before the AHR Expo and again at their booth in Las Vegas, LG Electronics USA showcased its 2022 lineup of commercial, light commercial, and residential HVAC solutions.

While some are talking about building a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, Heating, Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) is embarking on a plan to bring the HVACR distributors from the two countries together. An official name has yet to be determined, but HARDI wants to build a similar association in Mexico for Mexican HVACR distributors.

If you are going to travel to Wisconsin, it is best that you go there during the summer months. HARDI members must have been thinking the same thing, as 44 distributors were represented at the Purchasing Focus Conference at the Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, Wis., in June.

We are in the middle of year two for Distribution Center Magazine. It has been great fun so far and we really believe we are hitting our stride for distributors. We have met a lot of you at industry events and hope to meet even more in the near future.

 We’ve all heard the phrase when hell freezes over. It’s probably one of the more overused statements in the English language. Recently, while trying to figure out a way to describe a recent meeting in Washington regarding the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) rulemaking to govern the allocation of HCFC-22 (R-22) for the years 2015-2019, the phrase came to me as the only way to describe what I saw and heard.
