Dylan Henderson

With over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, Dylan brings a unique skill set to health care construction. With a bud-ding interest in Construction Management, Dylan attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University where he graduated in 2008 with a BS in Building Construction. In his role of almost five years with Carilion, Dylan has been exposed to the ever-changing landscape of the health care arena and has been able to adapt to the challenges presented with conducting invasive construction projects within an active health care setting. His prior construction experience has provided him with the tools necessary to work closely with the clinical team from design inception through project execution aligning architects, engineers, contractors and facility managers alike to ultimately provide a safely performed, high quality, and fiscally responsible final product. Dylan has been an active member of both the American Society of Healthcare Engineers and the Virginia Society of Healthcare Engineers since 2012. Within VSHE, Dylan currently serves on the State Board of Directors as the Blue Ridge District Chairman.
