Ionel Petrus, P.E., CEM, LEED AP BD+C, is a licensed professional engineer who has more than 13 years of mechanical design experience. In addition to being the mechanical discipline leader in SmithGroup’s Washington, D.C., office, he is also a LEED AP and a certified energy manager.
