The joint venture will distribute Samsung ductless products in the U.S. and Canada as well as products branded “Lennox powered by Samsung,” which will be sold through Lennox stores and its direct-to-dealer network.
The new residential line of Lennox heat pumps and a/c units will use R-454B refrigerant. The full line of commercial rooftop units and ducted split systems, including the Model L and Enlight families, will also use R-454B.
The Lancaster, Texas, location is its first facility outside Florida, and will help Cooper & Hunter more easily serve an increasing number of clients in the Midwest, the company said.
