Designed by Marken Design + Consulting, the duplex building will use up to 90 percent less energy for heating and cooling and save up to 65 percent on operational costs compared to a standard home.

Commercial Passive House consultancy Passiv Science announced that its recently completed dental office project in Roanoke, Va., has officially become the world’s first Passive House dental clinic. The Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt, Germany, presented its Passive House certification to the clinic of Drs. Dickey, Singleton, and Lynch.
