The work-from-home trend, a shortage of new housing and other factors are leading people to expand their homes and remodel existing spaces. They’re often turning to single-zone ductless products to heat and cool those new living spaces.
With cost reduction, sustainability enablement, increased comfort and performance benefits, VRF systems allow commercial buildings to gain a competitive advantage by reducing their carbon footprint and providing custom comfort to occupants.
For more HVAC contractors to sell zoning systems, they have to understand the benefits, challenges, know how to approach customers to even be able to sell it, and then comes the install.
Trolex and the newly acquired Zonex Systems, with a history that also goes back to the ‘60s, continue to manufacture zone dampers for original equipment manufacturers
Trolex Corporation is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month on the heels of an acquisition that increases its market share in the commercial zoning market.
“The acquisition of California Economizer and its Zonex Systems brings together the two oldest manufacturers of zoning dampers and zone-control systems,” said Dick Foster, the president of Zonefirst and its parent company, Trolex Corp.
For years, ZoneFirst President Dick Foster has used the light-switches-in-the-home comparison while promoting the benefits of zoning. At their AHR Expo booth, they introduced a product that brought new meaning to that comparison.
