Trilogy™ 40 Q-Mode
Trilogy 40 Q-Mode is a variable speed compressor, fan and source water pump (Trilogy technology) with four operating modes (Q-Mode technology). The unit breaks 40 on the EER Barrier using variable speed compressor, fan, and pump technology. The Q-Mode operation provides year-round domestic hot water and space cooling/heating. Trilogy’s advanced monitoring and diagnostics display operation, fault, and causes on the thermostat. According to the company, it offers high levels of comfort and humidity control as well as low sound levels.
Designed with a compact footprint and high-energy efficiency, Fujitsu’s Halcyon System 9RLS2 wall mounted ductless mini-split heat pump offers home and building owners’ space and cost-saving comfort solutions. The 9RLS2 is 27.2-SEER and has low heating capacity at low outdoor temperatures. This was accomplished by adopting a large heat exchanger and a high capacity compressor. Rated heating capacity is maintained up to 20°F. This new model can operate down to -5°F. It comes complete with an energy saving program and a programmable remote. If you leave the room without turning the unit off, ESP knows that you left and 20 minutes later, set temperature is increased by 4°F when cooling and reduced by 8°F when heating. When you come back to the room, it returns to previous operating mode.
The new line of Carrier® Infinity® 98 gas furnaces provides high efficiency and comfort in a furnace that is easy to install and service. Model 59MN7A060V21-20 is a gas furnace with an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 98.5 percent. When paired with the Infinity control, Greenspeed™ intelligence adjusts the furnace’s modulating gas valve output from 40 to 100 percent of capacity in one-percentage-point increments for precise temperature control and comfort.
The product includes a 360-degree rotating vent elbow to allow for every upflow, horizontal, left, and right downflow. The furnace condensate trap needs a 1.5-inch clearance, making it easy to adjust for any application, said the company. The blower assembly glides out of the cabinet much like a file drawer. A lengthened wire harness allows technicians to examine the furnace without dismantling it.
Every possible aspect of the installation of the Revolution Outdoor Split Series is geared around getting the unit down and connected as quickly as possible. The design was also centered around making the unit feel more familiar to people outside the geothermal industry by adding features that are common on many air-source products. Small details like not having to drill through concrete pads, worry with exact loop field placement, and ease of access are highlighted in this product. In many retrofit situations, time is critical, and the HRT is designed to help meet those needs.
