Serviceability features: The Smart Equipment digital control system simplifies system setup, optimization, and maintenance. Real-time reporting and performance alerts are viewable via the web. An onboard USB port allows for uploading or downloading software. The Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD) system is optional. The optional Verasys BAS accommodates single zone, changeover bypass, and variable air volume (VAV) zoning systems along with control of fans, lighting, third party HVACR and others. Verasys allows bundling of both HVAC and building automation.

Noise-reduction features: The indoor and outdoor fans are dynamically balanced for low vibration, scroll compressors are mounted on rubber isolators to reduce transmission of vibration, and vertical discharge condenser fans direct sound up and away from surrounding structures.

IAQ equipment supported: Both 2- and 4-inch filters can be used in filter rack.

Thermostat compatibility: Compatible with most thermostats.

Additional features: Meeting EPACT 2005 and ASHRAE 90.1-2013 efficiency standards, these split system air conditioners provide a robust but lightweight design that accommodates outdoor locations and rooftops. Smart Equipment digital controls simplify installation and troubleshooting, plus data is accessible over a Wi-Fi connection or mobile web browser. For enhanced efficiency, an optional IntelliSpeed supply fan control incorporates a variable-frequency drive (VFD) for variable air volume (VAV) applications.

Model: M-Series™ MHP and MCE single packaged vertical units

Footprint (in inches): 28 (length) by 21 to 24 (width) by 44 to 56 (height)

Serviceability features: This unit is designed for all service to be performed from the front of the unit. Features include forward-facing components and fasteners; high- and low-pressure ports; built-in filter rack; simple electromechanical controls; and a standard control board on heat pump models.

Noise-reduction features: Heat pumps feature Quiet Shift™ technology, which allows pressures to equalize prior to entering the defrost cycle. The insulation in the condensing section helps reduce compressor noise, and wall sleeve base pads reduce vibration transmission to the field-fabricated equipment base.

Features include Climate Guard™ epoxy coating on condenser and evaporator coils, optional Miami-Dade certified impact-resistant louvers, factory-installed electric heat kits, optional no heat models, and a factory-installed ventilation air kit.
