WESTFIELD, Mass. — Mestek announced the promotion of Jim Bashford to national sales and training manager for SpacePak.

Bashford has been with SpacePak as the Northeast regional sales manager for two years, working closely with its network of representatives and contractors. In addition to his role in sales management, Bashford has used his extensive knowledge of all SpacePak products to continually expand his role within the company, taking on greater responsibility with the training side of the business, including instructing “SpacePak Systems and Applications” seminars. 

Bashford has a total of 19 years of experience in the HVAC industry, which includes five years as a contractor and business owner who sold and installed SpacePak products.

“Jim’s versatility and experience in all aspects of the HVAC business from contractor to business owner, and manufacturer’s rep to sales management, positions him well to succeed as SpacePak National Sales Manager,” said Chuck Perry, vice president of sales and marketing  for Mestek Distributor Products Group.  “We look forward to the continued growth of SpacePak under his leadership.”
