DORAL, Fla. — HVAC manufacturer Cooper & Hunter has opened a 100,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Lancaster, Texas, just outside Dallas.

The company, based in the Miami, Florida, area, has been growing dramatically for several years and serves all parts of the country, a press release from Cooper & Hunter said. The Lancaster location is its first facility outside Florida, and will help Cooper & Hunter more easily serve an increasing number of clients in the Midwest, the company said.

The Dallas area provides huge benefits in terms of logistics, the company said. Its proximity to both coasts means that ground carriers can reach 93% of the country in two days or less. The Dallas-Fort Worth area has one of the country’s fastest-growing economies, and also has superior ground transportation infrastructure, with more than 10,539 miles of freight rail and 313,000-plus miles of public roads.

The new warehouse and distribution center, doing business as Comfortside West, a master distributor of Cooper & Hunter products, was opened by Artur Terchiyev, son of Cooper & Hunter founder and CEO Marat Terchiyev.

“Opening a warehouse outside of Florida has been an important goal for us for a long time. Due to an increasing number of clients in Central United States, Dallas seemed like a perfect strategic location. It is a big responsibility for my son, Artur, and I am excited to see the growth of the brand and of Comfortside West,” Marat Terchiyev said.

Cooper & Hunter operates in more than 50 countries. The company offers a wide range of HVAC products for residential and commercial facilities, including single- and multi-zone mini-splits, packaged terminal air conditioners (PTACs), portables, dehumidifiers, and air purifiers. In 2022, Cooper & Hunter introduced two new mini-split series in addition to commercial variable-refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and a new line of air-handling units.
