Johnstone Supply, Inc. recently welcomed three new owners and 10 new store locations into the company cooperative. The record seven-store group, owned and operated by the Bunselmeyer family, marks the largest conversion of independent stores in Johnstone's 50-year history. Operating as Hoffman Supply since 1941, the family of stores has a long history of success and growth in the wholesale distribution business. The 47,000-sq-ft Springfield, MO location serves as the Bunselmeyer's main store and distribution center, along with their stores in the cities of Rolla, Hollister, Joplin, and Jefferson City, plus Arkansas locations in the cities of Jonesboro and Springdale. Two other newly joined members have brought three additional stores into the cooperative. Bill and Shirley Olsen have converted their Valley Controls & Supply stores in Grand Junction and Durango, CO.
