Daikin Industries, Ltd., a global leader in manufacturing air-conditioning systems for residential, commercial, and industrial use worldwide, has announced the establishment of Daikin AC (Americas), Inc. The headquarters for Daikin AC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Daikin Holdings (USA), Inc., will be based in Carrollton, TX (a Dallas suburb). The 40,000-sq-ft headquarters, which includes its national sales office and showroom was officially opened in a ceremony on November 17.

For more than 80 years Daikin Industries has provided technologically and aesthetically advanced energy-efficient air-conditioning systems to markets throughout the world. The company currently provides sales and sales support services to contractors and distributors within various strategic markets in the U.S. Business development, training and marketing programs are all also coordinated from the North Texas office.

Additional sales offices are being located in major cities targeting New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Honolulu, among other cities. A trade advertising campaign and enhanced visibility at industry trade shows are also on tap for the new company.
