Marvair(Norcross, GA) a division of Airxcel, Inc., has been honored with the Governor’s Existing Industry Award, which recognizes a business that has made a substantial economic or social contribution to their community. Over the past five years Marvair has added a 103,700-sq-ft distribution center and manufacturing building, an engineering facility with a state-of-the-art test lab, and a 20,000-sq-ft plant expansion. The company has grown from a small, regional manufacturer of hvac equipment to a worldwide supplier of air conditioning products for telecommunication enclosures, schools, and commercial modular structures.
