Facility owners and managers will have the opportunity to learn about several HVAC topics from Trane when the manufacturer comes to the BOMA 2013 conference. The Every Building Conference and Expo is set for June 23-25 at the San Diego Convention Center.
Trane will showcase new energy-efficient technologies for commercial properties at its booth, as well as conduct educational sessions on the tradeshow floor.

Trane employees will also take part in BOMA’s Innovation Alley Educational Sessions. “The Marriage of Lighting and HVAC: A Relationship That Works For You” will be presented by Johnny Brown, area manager for Trane in Los Angeles; and Sam Grebe, director of strategic accounts for GE in Cleveland. They will address the benefits of integrating the latest in energy-efficient lighting with HVAC solutions and control technologies. Trane says that attendees will learn five key things to include in a retrofit analysis and what savings considerations should be included when preparing for a new building project. They will also discover how energy monitoring and modeling can help maintain efficiency gains into a sustainable future.
“Lightning Round 4: Tenant Satisfaction” will be led by Brian Bloker, Trane account manager in San Diego; and Patrick Copps, technical services director for the Pacific Division of Orkin LLC. They will discuss how to optimize tenant satisfaction, addressing top 10 signs that indicate an unhappy tenant and how to address them.
