Couplings manufacturer Victaulic was recently honored with two new awards. The Lehigh Valley Business newspaper named Victaulic the 2013 Business of the Year, while the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals presented the company with the 2013 Outstanding Corporation of the Year Award.
“I am gratified and proud that Victaulic has developed a culture that inspires business excellence, stimulates game changing product innovation, and encourages community service,” said John Malloy, chairman, president, and CEO of Victaulic.
At an award ceremony on November 18, Victaulic was named the 2013 Business of the Year. This award, judged by an independent panel of business leaders in the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania, recognized Victaulic for its leadership, innovation, and financial success.
According to Victaulic, the company has significantly increased its global presence over the past decade by hiring many new employees, developing hundreds of new patented products, and expanding its facilities around the world including a state-of-the-art R&D facility at the corporate headquarters location in Easton, PA.
Additionally, Victaulic was selected as the 2013 Outstanding Corporation of the Year on November 13, reflecting the dedication of its owners and its employees in supporting charitable organizations.
“This honor stems from the hard work of the many Victaulic associates around the world who are committed and concerned for those less fortunate within the communities where they work and live. Victaulic finds inspiration in them, and in turn, hopes that their actions inspire others,” said Malloy.
