Chromalox, a manufacturer of advanced thermal technologies, has acquired ProTrace Engineering based in Calgary, Alberta.

ProTrace Engineering offers electrical engineering services with a focus on providing specialized services in electric heat tracing, temporary construction power, and power system protection operations. According to Chromalox, adding these capabilities will enable the company to provide front end engineering design (FEED) study services, as well as expand current engineering service offerings, allowing for greater capacity to serve global markets.

“The acquisition of ProTrace was a natural fit for Chromalox as we continue to focus on expanding our engineering services to support our global heat trace business and other power system engineering service offerings,” said Scott Dysert, CEO of Chromalox. “We are excited about welcoming the ProTrace team to the Chromalox family, bringing with them many years of experience in providing specialized electrical engineering services.”
