Cambridge Engineering has launched its new TruBTU® app, which provides comparisons of direct-fired technologies.

The calculator compares and contrasts the heating capability available from high temperature heating and ventilation (HTHV) space heating products with conventional direct-fired technologies.

“Engineers, owners, and facility managers are faced with a myriad of decisions in heating and ventilating their properties,” said Randy Niederer, director of marketing for Cambridge.  “This application helps them determine the best and most efficient means for doing both.”

TruBTU® features comparisons of blow thru, draw thru, and recirculating systems with actual available heating output and usable heat under specific operating conditions. The app, available here, also provides outputs of the results in PDF format for distributing information.
