John Viskup, president and CEO of Victory Energy, is the new chair of the board for the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA). Viskup was elected by the board directors during the ABMA 2019 annual meeting in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
“It is quite an honor to be elected by my peers to lead this great organization. I look forward to continuing our momentum and advancing ABMA and the boiler industry,” said Viskup.
Doug Wright, president and CEO of Superior Boiler, was re-elected to a three-year term on the ABMA board of directors by the membership and elected vice-chair by the board of directors.
Viskup and Wright are joined by Detroit Stoker Company President Tom Giaier, who continues as secretary/treasurer; and Earle Pfefferkorn, president of Boiler Systems from Cleaver-Brooks, who moves to the role of immediate past chair after serving as board chair for the last two years.
The ABMA membership also elected Tricia Staible, president of Robinson Fans, for a three-year term on the ABMA board of directors along with the re-nomination of Mark Colman, president of Rentech Boiler Systems.
In addition, associate member group leadership have seats on the board of directors and elected Rhett Baker, president of Quest-Tec Solutions, as chair after two years as vice-chair; and Steven Taylor, director of sales at WARE, as vice-chair during their group meeting.
“I am looking forward to working closely with John Viskup and Doug Wright to implement a shared vision and excited for the addition of Tricia Staible and Steven Taylor,” said Scott Lynch, ABMA president and CEO.
