Two Lubbock, Texas, based companies have partnered to revolutionize pump testing capabilities through new remote monitoring technology, positioning themselves to address growing demands in water infrastructure nationwide.

Simflo, a manufacturer of industrial and agricultural pumps, has integrated SitePro Inc.'s automation technology into its new Engineered Products Facility, enabling customers to witness pump testing remotely from any location globally. The facility, which houses one of North America's largest vertical turbine test facilities, features 80-foot-deep wells and comprehensive digital analysis capabilities.

The partnership aims to streamline the pump testing process by eliminating the need for in-person visits. SitePro's patented software system monitors various pump performance metrics, including flow, pressure, speed, power factor, and torque, through cameras and digital dashboards.

"Our partnership with SitePro and incorporating this technology at our new Engineered Products Facility is truly revolutionizing the way remote testing is conducted in the pump industry," said Troy Pickering, CEO of SIMFLO. "We are not only offering an innovative solution that saves time and resources for our customers, but also paving the way for enriched water infrastructure upgrades nationwide and across the globe."

SitePro's CEO David Bateman emphasized the technology's role in infrastructure management.

"At SitePro, our technology and services enable responsible management of fluid-centric critical infrastructure, helping ensure pumps and other equipment have more uptime and reliability," he said. "This partnership exemplifies the core of our mission, and we're proud to have an impact on pumps that will be commissioned all over the globe."

The facility's implementation of remote testing capabilities comes as the United States faces significant water infrastructure upgrade needs.

Jay Tando, Simflo's Chief Operating Officer, concluded the partnership is "reshaping remote testing in the pump industry with cutting-edge innovations that boost efficiency and support worldwide water infrastructure advancements."
