ACCA announced that Vince and Laura DiFilippo of DiFilippo’s Service Company in Paoli, Pennsylvania, have been awarded the Federated Insurance ACCA Super S.T.A.R. Award. ACCA Corporate Partner Federated Insurance presents the ACCA Super S.T.A.R. Award annually to an ACCA member who prioritizes the four components of the award: safety, teamwork, accountability, and responsibility. To be eligible for the award, a contracting company must be both an ACCA member in good standing and a current Federated Insurance client.

Across the nation, many contractors have prepared for the new year with plans of growth, improvement, and a bevy of changes to increase their businesses. Although they may be prepared, unknown factors exist, and contractors have questions as to what the year might hold.
NATE certification means something because it involves a commitment and reflects reliability and proficiency. According to NATE, around 34,000 technicians have reached that status, with over 5,300 contractors getting their own certifications.

The timing couldn’t be better, as a few issues important to contractors and the HVAC industry in general will remain up for negotiation (or in some cases, renegotiation) in the upcoming session of Congress.
