The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced it recognizes J.M Oliver Heating & Cooling of Morton, Pennsylvania as ACCA’s 2018 Residential Contractor of the Year.

Global refrigerant manufacturer Arkema Inc. has joined the Air Conditioning Contractors of America’s (ACCA’s) Business Associate corporate membership program.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) applauded the House and Senate for passing the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. “This is an historic moment for HVAC contractors,” said Paul T. Stalknecht, ACCA president and CEO. “We fought for the past year to ensure that HVAC contractors would benefit from any tax reform legislation that was being considered in Congress. Today, we know that their tax rates are going to be lower and ACCA is proud to have led that fight on behalf of the contracting industry.”

ACCA announced its lineup of speakers for the ACCA Annual Conference and IE3 Trade Show, being held at the Gaylord National Harbor in Washington, District of Columbia, Feb. 12 –14, 2018. To help contractors serving the residential market expand their business and increase their bottom line, conference sessions and speakers will focus on innovative marketing strategies, new training programs, customer convenience, and revenue growth.

The Air Conditioning Contractors of America held its Business Technology and Operations Forum and Service Leadership Forum from October 24-27 in New Orleans. Hundreds of HVAC contractors, and their staff, attended the learning sessions and networking events.
