At the close of HARDI's 2012 annual conference, Brian Cobble
accepted the position and became the latest president to lead the association.
Cobble is the president of G.W. Berkheimer Co. Inc. in Portage, Ind., and the
company's involvement with HARDI over the years was a catalyst to his
acceptance of the new association position.
From the first-timer session to the closing ceremonies,
HARDI's 2012 Annual Conference united its membership under one theme,
"Develop Demand, Success is Deliberate." The four days of activity,
sandwiched in between the opening and closing, focused on preparing
distributors for what possibly lies ahead through education, networking, and
more.
From refrigerant regulations to regional equipment
standards, the members who attended HARDI's June 4 Leadership Conference in
Washington, D.C., had a lot to discuss.

Demand, Success is Deliberate" is the timely theme of HARDI's annual
conference, which will take place at the J.W. Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in
Orlando from October 6-9. The conference will provide numerous occasions for
socializing, networking, and educational opportunities of interest to all

emeritus of Industrial Distribution at Texas A&M University during opening
day of the 2011 HARDI Annual Conference. Workman’s topic, “Realizing 2006
Profitability with a 2012 Mindset,” started off with the keynote speaker asking
the questions, “Really?” and “How?”
