The program will match student workers with HVACR jobs and expose them to career pathways in the industry, all while earning their high school diploma.
Washtenaw Community College has been the UA partner in this endeavor for 29 years, and the instructor training program has seen increased participation both in information technology professional (ITP) certificates as well as associate’s degrees awarded.
These new programs and reactivations include occupations such as machinist, HVACR technician, electrician, plumber, cement mason, ironworker, operating engineer, and a new occupation in certified cyber analyst operator.
