This increasing demand is coming primarily from developing nations in hotter parts of the world, such as India, where the peak electricity load for air conditioning could reach 45 percent in 2050, up from 10 percent today.
The popular projection is that 2019 is poised to be a challenging year for HVACR distributors. So, what does that mean for your business? Are you doomed for failure regardless of how well your company performs in 2019?

The tech who showed up to the house was probably just as surprised as I was that my dad was getting the ducts cleaned. But he saw this appointment as an opportunity, not a waste of time. He talked to my dad, found things out about him and the house. Because he spent just a few minutes with my dad, he was able to add on additional products and services. That tech turned a $375 duct cleaning job into a $1,500 IAQ solution job.
It is just the society we live in these days. There is a general lack of patience, and when anything goes wrong, people want their pound of flesh. It is your job as the leader of your business to prevent your employees from taking the bait.
