What happens when digital-buying millennials increasingly take over B2B buying, and they find lower prices for equal or better goods from online sellers?
The Dayton, Ohio-based wholesale HVACR distribution company, which was founded in 1962 by Kevin and Jason Trimbach’s grandfather, Jerry Trimbach, and business partner Jim Winget, now staffs 119 employees.

Selling is about building value, and bidding is about competing on price. Dealers who bid replacement jobs are more likely to sell low-margin products, acquire fewer positive referrals, and go on credit hold quicker.
