ACCA has launched its newest online certificate program, Qtech: Basic Electricity for the HVAC Contractor. Through Qtech, contractors can offer employees on-demand training in quality HVACR installation, maintenance, home performance, and other areas.

The Clifford H. “Ted” Rees Jr. Scholarship Foundation, a charitable foundation of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and ACCA, announced scholarship awards totaling $63,000 to 37 students, including four veterans, studying to become technicians in the HVACR and water heating industry.

Centura College’s Richmond campus has announced a new Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Certificate program. Through this training, students will work hands-on with air conditioning and heating systems, residential and commercial refrigeration, heat pumps, hydronics, and more.

Carrier distributors nationwide have identified the recipients of their annual college scholarship, and awarded grants this year totaling nearly $40,000. Each year, the Carrier & Bryant Distributors’ Education Foundation awards 25 scholarships to outstanding students who are the children of Carrier and Bryant dealers.

ACCA has launched a new online training program, HVAC for Office & Sales Staff. The new program explains the basics of HVAC equipment, how important the HVAC contracting industry is, and how vital the role of each employee is in running a successful contracting company.
